About me

Teaching isn't just a profession for me - it's a calling. The Swedish language holds a special place in my heart, and sharing its beauty and nuances with students brings me immense joy.

I am an experienced educator with a diverse range of teaching experiences across different proficiency levels. I have had the pleasure of guiding students through the intricacies of both Swedish as a second language and native Swedish. I carry more than 15 years of experience as an SFI-teacher.

​

I take pride in being a certified Swedish teacher recognized by the Swedish National Agency for Education. My educational journey, enriched by studies at Malmö- and Lund Universities as well as  Högskolan i Dalarna, equips me with the knowledge and skills  to empower my students. 

​

Together with a colleague I have authored a comprehensive textbook for Swedish as a Foreign Language (SFI), grounded in the latest advancements in linguistic research.  Our collaboration extended to working closely with one of Sweden's leading researchers in the field, who served as the book's editor. Through this partnership, I gained invaluable insights into the mechanics of language acquisition, deepening my understanding of how the process truly unfolds and kept me up-to-date with the research in the educational landscape.

In addition to my native proficiency in Swedish and English, I also possess a working knowledge of Spanish and Arabic.
